1st Feeding

Georgia Grace turned 4 months a few weeks ago which means she was able to start solid foods. We decided we were going to try rice cereal once a week until she was able to get a good swallow and then we would do it every day. We started her out in the bumbo because we hadn't pulled out the highchair yet. She did pretty well. I have been trying to post a video with this for a week now but can't get it to load. The video is so funny. Georgia takes her first bite and plays with it, spitting some out. When I get the second spoon ready she dives for it like she can't get it fast enough. Here are a few pictures from the first feeding.

Yummy!!!

We finally pulled out the highchair so she could lean back like she is supposed to.

So today I was feeding Georgia again for the 3rd or 4th time. The other times she had not really eaten anything, it was more for the practice. Today she was really eating and doing well. I was all excited and thought that we were going to need to start doing this every day. Well 3 hours later I was shown I was wrong...Georgia started throwing up and did not stop. She would throw up, we would change clothes and then she would do it again. She had 4 big blows and a few small ones. I don't think the poor baby has anything left in her tummy. Our friend's baby did the same thing and they think she can't have rice. I am going to have to call the doctor, but for now no more food. Georgia was so tired she fell asleep playing. She has to be so exhausted because she usually needs to be rocked to sleep.

So tired from getting sick that she fell asleep in her exersaucer
