God is Great!!!

So back in November, right before Thanksgiving, we were told that Georgia was breech (her butt was down and her head was up by my ribs). You cannot deliver this way, and I was very upset. There were lots of prayers and I went to a chiropractor to give Georgia every opportunity to flip. On Monday night she moved a lot, and I think turned then. We had an extra ultrasound yesterday, which showed that she was head down and ready to go!!! We are sooo happy. Now we can just let nature take its course and wait for Georgia to come and meet us rather than having to schedule a C-section.
At the appointment, the doctor said I am not dilated yet at all. She said that doesn't mean too much, because a lot of women do not dilate early and just go into labor one day. I do not feel that she is ready to come yet, but we are still soooo excited.
During the ultrasound we got to see Georgia's face and her eyes were open. It was soooo neat to see her little face and get a better clue at what she is going to look like. I started crying. She was sooo beautiful. It is getting more and more exciting. I can't wait for her to come.

Shower

I had two wonderful showers at the beginning on December, one in Huntsville and one in Brentwood. I have been waiting to post on them because I was waiting on pictures, but I have other news so I will go ahead and post and hopefully go back and add pictures. I am so lucky to have such good friends and my parent’s friends to throw us these showers.
At the shower in Huntsville, they had Pink candy for decorations (I was in heaven) and everyone made me a scrapbook page to make things easier for when Georgia is here. The shower in Brentwood was mostly my mom's friends with a few of my High School friends there. Everything there was so pretty too. We got to play games, which I love, and one of my best friend's mom (Mollie's mom) won the game about guessing what I wanted Georgia to be like. She must know me well, she beat my mom, haha.
We got lots of wonderful gifts and are finally getting her nursery ready. Pictures to come soon.
Thank you everyone for all of the wonderful gifts, support, and hard work for the showers.

Christmas Time

December is finally here and Christmas is just around the corner. Our social calendar in December is always packed and it all started this weekend. Friday night our Sunday School class cooked dinner for a group home of mentally handicap adults that we work with throughout the year. Everyone brought all their kids and it was so much fun. Two of our friends have young babies, and I spent most of the time holding them. Even though I am about to have one of my own, I still can't get enough baby time.
Saturday night we had Robert's work party. It was fun getting all dressed up and hanging our with our friends. Here are a few pictures from the Christmas party.

Robert and me by the Christmas Tree

Robert won one of the door prizes. He went running and cheering (like on the Price is Right) to go get the $35 gift card. The DJ said he wished that he could have given Robert the grand prize because of his enthusiasm.
This is a Huntsville friend who is due 4 days ahead of me, would you have guessed?

Thanksgiving

So this year for Thanksgiving we went to my parents house. Brian was not able to make it because he was traveling in Asia, but it was extra special because my grandma was able to come. I did not get any family pictures, because my camera was still missing, but my sister-in-law is preganant too and we should have gotten a pregnant picture together...I hate I missed that. I was able to see a lot of my friends from high school and spend a lot of time with my neice and nephew. I brought up some of my old dolls from when I was younger and Emma LOVED them. She is calling all dolls "Honey" and called one of my dolls "Big Honey". She would try to carry this doll around and it was the same size as her.
Friday night we went to Sarah's house and everyone wanted to feel Georgia move and listen to her. Sarah told horror stories of her pregnancy and delivery. Hopefully, I was able to put a positive spin on pregnancy for my friends because I think most of them want to adopt now.
Sarah is trying to listen to my stomach.

Jenna got her stethescope and my friends took turns trying to listen to Georgia. It was so funny.

MSU-Alabama Game

So every year Robert and I try to go to a Mississippi State football game, and ever since I went to Alabama for grad school, we try to go to the UA vs MSU game. It makes a fun rivalry. This year we were able to get tickets at Alabama, which made for a new experience for our friends. Every year our tailgate gets bigger and bigger. This year we had two full size tents and tables and a tv. The weather turned out perfect during the day, and not too cold during the night.

Robert and me at the tailgate.
I am finally looking pregnant.

At the game!!!

Our seats are always at the very top of the stadium. This year presented new struggles trying to walk up to the top. I was huffing and puffing and sweating by the time we reached the top.

Halloween

Ok, I know it is a month after Halloween, I have been getting grief from everyone about not posting recently. In my defense, I was working overtime my last few weeks and then we lost the camera. I finally found it and now have more time to post!!!
Here are a few pictures of our Halloween costumes. We went as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. Robert stuffed his costume, I didn't have to.

My friend Heather dressed as me for Halloween.
It was so funny when she got out of the car.
She even looks more pregnant than I did.
