Valentine's Day

On Valentine's day we went to a play group at my friend Rachel's house. She has twin 3 year old boys and a little girl 5 months younger than Georgia. The kids had fun playing and having cute snacks that Rachel cut out with a heart.

This was minus 3 kids another set of twins and another baby.

A few days before Valentine's Day we went to another play group to make valentines for the daddies with finger paint. My friend Kristi made paint out of pudding so it would be edible if the kids tried to eat it. Good thing she did because Georgia sat down and ate the whole bowl of blue paint. I didn't know that she could use a spoon and feed herself, but she sure showed me that she knew how. She would not leave and devoured the whole bowl. None of the other kids wanted anything to do with the paint.

Look mom, I did it!!!

As you might guess I will not be letting her feed herself any time soon. I had to take her straight up stairs and give her a bath at Kristi's house.

Don't forget to scroll down and see the other new posts, I just added a few.

Update

Sorry it has taken so long for an update but we have been really busy. Georgia weighed 16 lbs at he 1 year checkup. She is doing better weight wise but the doctor is still concerned. We haven't heard from the nutritionist yet, and my doctor is pretty mad. We now have the number to try to call them. Georgia's height and head circumference are doing just fine. She is eating lots of new foods: hot dogs, lunch meat, spaghetti, and will try almost anything we are eating. So basically she eats more types of food than I do. She still does not like most fruits or any veggies. We are still trying.

Here is a video of her playing with her riding toy. She loves to walk behind it, but loves to be pushed more.

Georgia's 1st birthday Party

We celebrated Georgia's birthday the weekend before her birthday. Robert's mom, my parent's and my Grandma came in town to help celebrate. We had a few close friends come over to help celebrate too. We did a rainbow theme. I debated for a long time trying to figure out what theme I wanted to do. I originally wanted to do a Care Bear theme because I thought it was my first birthday theme. I then switched to just pink, and then to cheerios. I finally settled on rainbow. When my mom came down the day before the party, she told me she came across a picture from my first birthday and it was a rainbow party too.  How funny. Everything turned out just perfect and Georgia had so much fun with her family and friends. She got lots of great toys and has enjoyed playing with them over and over again. Finally, what you really want to see... PICTURES!!

Georgia's special highchair. She loved the balloons.
The food table. I tried to make everything that I could be rainbow.
Rainbow candy, rainbow cake, cupcakes with rainbows on top, rainbow fruit kabobs, all different colored chips, rainbow goldfish, and rainbow shaped PB&J sandwiched for the kids.

 We match!!!
I would say Georgia was playing with her friends, but at this point the kids were hungry and really wanted to eat so they are all sharing a snack.

The kids were having fun playing in the wrapping paper. Note to self, don't buy gifts, just wrap boxes and they will play with the boxes and paper.
 Family picture with the cake.

Georgia waiting for her cake.
She did not smash the cake. She daintily touched the icing and licked it off
This is the messiest she got
This is a picture from my first birthday. Can you believe my mom let me stand in my high chair. Its so funny that our cakes look so similar and I didn't even know
